Taylor Haun - Odo Sound Founder
“I founded Odo Sound in 2016 with the purpose of accelerating the blossoming of human potential through music. Odo Sound is an organization devoted to empowering students to learn the creative side of music, publish their music, and have meaningful musical experiences.”
Taylor is a graduate of Indiana University - Jacobs School of Music where he studied with Michael Spiro, David Baker, Kevin Bobo, Steve Houghton, John Tafoya, and more. He taught the drumline and percussion ensembles in Plano ISD at Clark High School and Plano Senior High School 2013-2015. Plano Senior High School is a 2-time Grammy Gold Signature School. Taylor has also taught at Wiley Middle School in Leander, TX a 2016 PASIC Call for Tapes Winner and McCallum High School a Grammy Gold Signature School Winner, where he co-teaches the Samba Knights.
Taylor keeps a small private-lesson studio in Austin, TX and works full-time at Soundtrap (a Spotify company) where he trains teachers and students how to use Soundtrap to the fullest. He has trained hundreds of teachers around the world in the US, Canada, Sweden, and Australia as well as thousands of online students globally.
Taylor is plugged in to the music education industry and is constantly striving to accelerate the growth of creative programs and initiatives.
